Alan is an independent advisor to corporate boards and senior management on all aspects of executive remuneration, non–executive director pay and associated governance. This includes identifying appropriate remuneration strategies, competitive market analysis and designing and developing cash, equity based and equity equivalent incentives.
Previously Alan was the Head of Human Resources (Asia ex-Japan) for AIG, then Morgan Stanley. Since returning to Australia he has worked as a principal consultant for the executive search firm, Korn Ferry, and in executive remuneration, with Egan & Associates and Aon Hewitt. Consequently he is one of the few people that understands all sides of the REM debate and can provide insight on the links between executive remuneration and the management of performance, retention and leadership risks.
Over the last 15 years Alan’s clients have included the board remuneration committees of a broad spectrum of ASX listed company clients in terms of size and sector. He has also worked with a variety of unlisted and pre-IPO entities developing pay strategies and incentive arrangements.
Before establishing Theorem Advisory in 2012 Alan was a Principal consultant for Aon Hewitt. Alan continues his association with Aon Hewitt, assisting with specialised projects for their clients.
